CALL FOR PAPER

UMT Journal of Undergraduate Research was founded in 2019 is a peer-reviewed, quarterly final year undergraduate project publication in Universiti Malaysia Terengganu. This journal is published four times per year in January, April, July and October. The editorial staff, comprising of professors and lecturers supervising these final year undergraduate student projects and editorial staffs from the journal publication section at Penerbit UMT. The editorial team reviewers the submissions and selects several outstanding works to be highlighted by the journal. The editors base their selections on principles such as overall clarity of expression, quality and originality of research, originality of analysis and scholarly approach. 

All submissions are carefully evaluated by the Journal's editorial board which selects a range of articles that will represent research across disciplines within all faculties in the university. Articles are first reviewed in a multi-tier process by smaller groups of editorial board members, assembled to bring a diversity of academic perspectives to the table. Also, this journal uses a double-blind review process, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process. Essentially, editors work together with authors on typically minor changes to the argument structure, formatting and grammar before the journal is available online.
